Nem todos os gatos brancos com olhos azuis nascem surdos, mas a maioria deles s\u00e3o, de acordo com uma pesquisa feita pela Universidade de Medicina Veterin\u00e1ria de Cornell. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A pesquisa mostrou que:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 65 a 85% dos gatos completamente brancos e com dois olhos azuis s\u00e3o deficientes auditivos;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a040% se o gato tem um olho azul;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">17 a 22% se o gato \u00e9 branco puro, mas n\u00e3o tem olhos azuis.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Por isso, se o olho do gato for azul, quer dizer que o gene W se manifestou de maneira mais significativa.
